Hello FPCLC Family,
Wow! Who would have thought I would be writing an April Presby article regarding a pandemic response instead of rejoicing that Easter is here? To say that the past 2 weeks have been a whirlwind is an understatement. I want to take this time to communicate FPCLC’s response to the virus and where you can get questions answered should you find yourself ill.
On March 19th I created a page on our website to communicate information and decisions made by the Session, Pastor Ken, our County and City Government, and the FPCLC Staff.
You can find the page by click on the home page or directly at fpclc.org/covid-19-response.
On March 24th, the Session and Pastor Ken met online and discussed the continuation of suspended in person worship through Easter and/or possibly beyond. After careful consideration and prayer, they determined it was in the best interest of the congregation to have worship services online exclusively until they feel there is no risk to the congregation. This includes Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter. There will be no Cantata Service on Good Friday and only one service on Easter. Please keep an eye on the website, social media, and emails from the FPCLC’s office for any additions or changes.
