Worship Update

During this past year of COVID and challenges, it seems time should have slowed with inactivity. Yet for me, it has been the opposite. Usual activities have slowed, but days seem to move into the next; weeks into the next; months into the next.

It seems like we just finished celebrating the birth of Christ and now we’re already beginning to think celebrating about His resurrection. I hope you were able to watch the Ash Wednesday service and are taking part in the Lenten “lunch at home” messages. Pastor Ken and Tim are doing so much to help us continue feeling close to church and each other.

We are not comfortable trying to have an Easter sunrise service this year, but Easter celebration goes forward!! Maundy Thursday will be a communion service. If you would like to have communion elements, please contact me, or church office and we will try to get them to you. Memorial Easter flowers will again decorate the chancel. You can order lilies or hydrangea by filling out the form or picking one up on a Sunday in Fellowship Hall.

Deadline for returning them with your check is Monday, March 29th. Due to spacing requirements, we need to make reservations for Easter so that family units can sit together. Reservations can be made beginning Monday. March 22nd. Earliest reservations will be seated in the Sanctuary. We have a large screen in Fellowship Hall now so we can seat a lot more than the 45 planned in the Sanctuary. Many of us have received both of our vaccines and the next month many more should have them. So please come back to church. We are still sanitizing the air, pews, and chairs daily. IT IS SAFE. Hope to see you all soon!

NOTE: No Easter Sunrise Service this year. Please join us for Easter Worship at 10:30 AM. (We hope to continue this tradition next year)
